Our country＇s wheat production is endangered by wheat stripe rust seriously, so it is very important to filtrate the disease-resistant genes and cultivate the resistant varieties. Anciently, we rely on manual genetic testing, which is time-consuming and inefficient. In the face of that problem, we research and design the expert system from identification of resistance genes to wheat stripe rust, in this paper, and focus on the construction of the knowledge base and the design of the inference engine.
