针对单传感器图像光谱属性和空间属性的局限性和单一融合算法融合能力有限的问题,提出了红外图像和可见光图像的协同融合新方法。该方法首先获得多个融合算法下的融合图像,然后综合评定各个融合图像的整体性能,接着在各融合算法之间进行"竞争、合作、调整和反馈"机制下的多次动态图像融合,从而得到一个性能稳定且融合效果最佳的融合图像。初步实验结果显示,该方法能够有效地获取高质量的融合图像。
For the spectral and spatial limitation of a single image sensor, this paper presented a new method on infrared and visible image fusion, which was based on the cooperative work of several image fusion algorithms. In the method, the quality of fused images gained from the different fusion algorithms were indexed first. And then multiple dynamic image fusions were implemented by the mechanism of competition, cooperation, adjustment and feedback among the fusion algorithms. Thus a fusion image was acquired which not only had stable performance, but also represented the best fusion effect. Pilot experimental results show that the proposed method can provide with a high quality fused-image.
