以淀粉和聚乙烯醇(PVA)为主要原料,在适当助剂作用下共混发泡制成泡沫塑料。研究了淀粉与PvA的比例、发泡剂用量、发泡温度、压力等条件对泡沫密度的影响。研究发现,当淀粉/PVA比例为6.3,发泡剂用量为共混物固含量的0.4%,发泡温度为190℃时,泡沫制品具有较低的密度。比较了由醇解度为88%和99%的PVA制备的淀粉泡沫塑料的吸水性,发现由PVA1799制备的泡沫具有较好的耐水性。扫描电子显微镜照片显示淀粉与PWL具有很好的相容性。
Corn starch, which is abundant and biodegradable in the nature, together with poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) was used to make foams. Due to the density and water resistance are the two most important indexes for starch-based foam, many factors, including starch/PVA ratio, temperature, bowing agent amount, and pressure were investigated. The optimum conditions of preparation of low density starch-based foam have been found: the ratio of starch/PVA is 6.3, the amount of blowing agent is 0.4% of the solid content of blends, and the temperature is 190℃. The water resistance of the foam prepared by PVA 1788 or PVA 1799 was studied and it is found that the foam made from PVA 1799 has good water resistance. There is good compatibility between starch and PVA in the foam.
