Establishing assessment and designation criteria for Chinese industrial heritage , to guide the systematic survey and designation of industrial heritages nationwide , is the key issue in the Chinese industrial heritage conservation .As the pioneer of worldwide industrial revolution , Britain possesses an advanced conservation system for its abundant and diverse industrial heritages .By looking into the designation criteria for industrial heritage in Britain , this paper aims to provide useful information in establishing Chinese industrial heritage designation criteria .
