笔者在鄂西建始地区中二叠统孤峰组硅质岩中共获得放射虫化石5属16种,主要由阿尔拜虫类(albaillel—lids),球形多囊虫类(spherical polycystine)和十字多囊虫类(stauraxon polycystine)组成。根据放射虫化石特征,该剖面自下而上依次划分为Pseudoalbaillella globosa带、Follicucullus monacanthus带和Follicucullus scholasticus带,并可与日本西南部、美国Orgeon地区、广西钦州及云南孟连地区同时代的放射虫带进行精确对比。根据剖面特征放射虫种分带与对比可确定该剖面地质年代为中二叠世的茅口期,其年代地层为瓜德鲁普统的沃德阶一卡匹敦阶。
Abundant radiolarians have been recently found in the Middle Permian Gufeng Formation in Jianshi, Hubei Province. By detailed appraisal of the radiolarians fossils, 16 species belonging to 5 genera had been identified, inclu- ding the albaillellids, the spherical polycystine and the stauraxon polycystine. According to the radiolarian distribution at the section, three assemblage zones, Pseudoalbaillella globosa assemblage zone, Follicucullus monacanthus as- semblage zone and Follicucullus scholasticus assemblage zone are proposed ascendingly. The three radiolarians zones can be correlated with contemporary radiolarians zones in the southwest of Japan, Orgeon region in America, Qinzhou (Guangxi) and Menglian (Yunnan). According to the ages of the radiolarian assemblage zones, the Gufeng Forma- tion at the Luojiaha section of Jianshi, Hubei Province can be assigned to Maokouan stage (Middle Permian), corre- sponding to the Wordian stage--Capitanian stage (Guadalupian).
