笔者利用“两国两公司”模型论证了距离对跨国公司ODI决策的影响。采用中国对其他51个国家和地区2000年~2009年的面板数据,对样本国聚类分析后,考察了中国不同类型的对外直接投资(ODI)对距离的敏感度,发现相对于资源寻求型ODI,距离对市场寻求型ODI的阻碍效应更大,这主要是由我国ODI的动机和特性所致。
Using the model of "two countries; two corporations", the authors demonstrated the impact of distance on the ODI decision- making of transnational companies. After a cluster analysis of the sample countries with the panel data of China VS fifty-one other coun- tries and regions from 2000 to 2009, the authors inspected the sensitivity of different types of ODI to distance and found that compared with resource-seeking ODI, the hindering effect of distance on market-seeking ODI is greater, which is mainly caused by the motive and characteristics of the ODI of our country.
