The design progress of the Irrigation Information Management System （IIMS） based on ASP. NET is introduced in detail in this paper. The IIMS is developed on. NET platform by using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to establish the background database and programming with object-oriented programming language C #. According to the different user authorities, the B/S mode is used to design the modules of inputting, querying, specific analysis and charts display in this system. The IIMS can ensure the data security and realizes the rapid analysis and standardized management of irrigation experimental data. The development of IIMS is of great significance to reorganization and filing of irrigation experimental data and providing technical services to related fields in China.
