扩展有限元法(XFEM)采用水平集法描述裂纹,以单位分解方法改进形函数,可以很有效的模拟含裂纹问题。以ABAQUS软件为平台,利用XFEM计算了有限板应力强度因子,模拟了大理岩三点弯曲荷载下的裂纹开展状况。结果表明,扩展有限元法能有效的对裂纹扩展过程进行仿真,计算结果满足工程要求,为解决实际复杂问题提供了方便的途径。
Extended Finite Element Method (XFEM) can effectively simulate crack problems. XFEM use the level set method to describe the location and size of the cracks, and use the partition of u- nity method to improve the shape function. Two problems, the stress intensity factor of a finite plate and the crack propagation in three point bending beam, were simulated by ABAQUS using XFEM method. The results show that XFEM can effectively simulate the crack propagation process. The results meet the engineering requirements very well and a convenient way is provided to solve real complex problems.
