The ground - state universal construction of order parameters per lattice is computed for the quantum three - state Potts model in a transverse magnetic field in one spatial in terms of the iMPS algorithm. It is found that the behaviors of universal construction of order parameters are different when the control parameter crosses the criti- cal point. This implies that the systems undergo spontaneous symmetry breaking, and we can locate the phase tran- sition point. The critical point A c is determined from an extrapolation of the pseudo phase transition point λx with re- spect to the truncation dimension, so we can get λc= 0. 9991, which is close to the exact critical point I. The practical importance of universal construction of order parameters lies in computing and studying quantum phase transition.
