The sensitivity limit for spatial small displacement detection based on high-order Hermite-Gauss modes laser beam has been investigated, showing that the sensitivity limit for high-order mode (TEMn0 mode)is √2n+1 times that of the fundamental mode. We also provide a kind of array detection scheme based on high-order Hermite-Gauss modes.
