The composite of SiC and Aluminum-Magnesium (A1-Mg) with double continuous phase were prepared by the method of non-pressure infiltration. The effect of different ablation time on the ablation performance of the SiC/Al-Mg composites was investigated. The result showed that the sample surfaces did not appear the obvious ablation pits as 20 s ablation time to get the better high temperature performance. And appeared obvious ablation pit on the surface of the samples as ablation time was 40 s and 60 s to dam- age seriously the sample.
