充分认识和深入研究人类经济行为及其积累过程，以及它的结构性变化对生态环境的影响效应是当今国际科学研究的前沿领域。文中以人地关系论为理论指导，选择典型的生态环境脆弱区鄂尔多斯市，定性分析不同产业发展对生态环境影响的基础上，定量评价了研究区近二十年（1984—2004）的产业结构变化及其生态环境效应。结果显示：研究时段内其产业结构有两次明显的结构转型；随之出现的生态环境效应呈“S”型发展变化趋势，表明产业结构变化给区域生态环境带来的不利影响所呈现的“S”型在加大，该市基于生态环境保护的产业结构调整任务仍很艰巨。

英文摘要：

In the paper, based on the human - land relationship theoretical guidance, the Erdos city which is typical of a fragile ecological environment district was selected to qualitatively analyze the different industries and the eco-environmental impact of development, the ecological environment in the study area for and evaluate the industrial structure and the effect of changes in nearly two decades （ 1984 - 2004）. The result showed that during the last two decades, there experienced two obvious industrial structure transformations. The ecological environment effects was in an＂ S＂ type, which showed that the industrial structure changes had made the regional ecological environment degradating increasingly.
