The two problems closely related with location management strategies in wireless networks are location update and paging. Now, more and more location management strategies based on various mobility patterns are proposed to reduce the total cost of location update and paging. This paper designs a simulation platform for location management strategies, describes the function of modLde and the flow of simulation.
