There is no doubt that introgressive hybridization plays a major role in evolution. In recent years, a large number of cases about introgressive hybridization in amphibians have been reported constantly. This article summarized the research status at home and abroad and the methods of introgressive hybridization in amphibians. We also discussed the various ways in which humans are affecting genetic exchange and the impacts on amphibians in the past hundreds of years. Finally, the research prospects of introgressive hybridization in amphibians are also proposed.
