This paper summarily describes the present status of research on wind resistance of low-rise buildings geometric pattern. The paper is divided into three parts. The first part is about the effect of low-rise building＇s geometric pattern on the wind pressure distribution. The second part is about the effect of eaves construction and roofing material on wind pressure. The third part is about the database of aerodymamics for design of low-rise buildings. Three parts are explicated and discussed. Some problems to need further investigation are presented.
