In order to ensure pavement of new highway not to damage by groundwater in high groundwater mining,the elevation of new highway must be higher than the one of groundwater.With the basic law of mining subsidence,this paper puts forward the elevation calculation of new highway and measures of groundwater control in high groundwater mining by studying the relationship between the groundwater depth and the capacity of new highway.
