As the essence of Bashu culture in different historical periods, Bashu philosophy is character- ized by its metaphysical speculation, its openness and accommodation of diversity, its creative interpretation of classics, and its practicality. Reflecting the regional culture, Bashu philosophy is inextricably linked with Chi- nese Confucian Classics and has an important position in the history of Chinese philosophy and the history of Chinese Confucian Classics. Therefore, it has had a significant impact on the development of both disciplines.
