Fluorenyl-containing sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone ketone) was synthesized through a postsulfonation method as the matrix, and AMPH-POSS [ octaminophenyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane ] was selected as filler to form acid-base enhanced proton exchange membranes by solution casting. The microstructure and some basic properties were investigated. The filler was well dispersed in the polymer matrix. The hybrid membranes exhibited improved swelling stability, selectivity and methanol permerbilities.
