英文摘要：

The disclosure of Cultural Studies originates in its disciplinary openness,penetrating perspective,and methodological emphasis on practice. The localization of such a discipline in China is,however,hindered by contextual,theoretical,and institutional obstacles,as manifested in the difficulties of its localized application,theoretical reproduction,and functioning as a critical discourse. The traditional conception of ＂Piwenxue＂can offer guidance and theoretical resources for the localization of Cultural Studies. While the principle of ＂Tongbian ＂can help solve the problem of its application to local practices,the methodology of＂Yibian＂offers its paradigm building with viable model and method,and the approach of＂Piwenhua＂can overcome the constraint of disciplinization and help establish an effective mode of criticism.
