Two new mereterpenoids,termed eochlearols E （1） and F （2）, along with two known meroterpenoids, gano- cins A （3） and B （4） were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma cochlear. The structures of the new com- pounds were identified on the basis of spectroscopic methods. In particular,compounds 1,3 and 4 were isolated as race- mic mixtures, chiral separation of 1 followed by computational methods assigned its absolute configuration.
