[ Purpose/significance ] In order to help scholars understand the development and research progress of the informa- tion service of mobile library, this paper analyzes the research dynamics and development trend of mobile library in the field of information service at home and abroad. [ Method/process ] By collecting domestic and foreign relevant papers about the mobile library, the paper makes a comparative analysis of the mobile library at the aspects of its origin, development, research hotspots, and trend, which helps to understand the development trends of domestic and foreign information service in mobile library. [ Result/conclusion] Results show that the research of mobile library in the field of information service has become the hotspot in the recent years at home and abroad. Users＇ behavior of the information service of mobile library and the application of new information technologies in the mobile library are general concerns in this field. Users＇ behavior of the information service of the mobile library based on big data and context, innovation of information service of mobile library in the new information technologies environment, and the service modes of the mobile reading and mobile education in the development of the mobile library are the future focuses in this field.
