研究了采用MZM实现再调制的高速WDM-PON方案,通过在Optisystem8.0仿真软件中搭建网络,对基于RSOA和MZM的两种单纤双向再调制WDM-PON进行了比较研究,仿真分析1.25Gb/s、2.5Gb/s和10Gb/s双向对称速率的上行传输性能,证明了基于RSOA的WDM—PON可实现低速远距离传输,而MZM再调制方式则更适合于高速短距离传输应用。
An novel scheme of high-speed WDM-PON which using MZM as remodulator to realizing colorless ONU is analysis in this paper,the bit-rates and transmission distances supported by WDM-PON based on RSOA and MZM are repectively simulated with Optisystem 8.0.By studying of the two-way symmetric rate of 1.25Gb/s,2.5Gb/s and 10Gb/s uplink transmission performance,the simulation results show that: RSOA-based WDM-PON is more suitable for the conditions of both low bit-rate and long-distance,otherwise,MZM-based WDM-PON dominates the applications of higher bit-rate and short-distance.
