Ruili is situated in the southwest part of Yunnan and its climate is hot warm and humid. Bamboo species and nature bamboo forest there is very rich,and altogether 17 genus and 37 species of bamboos have been recorded. The diversity of bamboo germplasm resource,nature bamboo community,characteristics of the flora,industrialized exploitation and then conservation measure have been systematical discussed and analyzed in this paper.
