Structural insulated panel（SIP） is made of two wood structural sheathing with a foam core.In this paper,a SIP was prepared and some analyses were made about thermal performance,also deduced the formula of cost about the SIP vis-à-vis non-energy wall and the formula about the best core thickness of SIP.The formulas deduced in this paper can provide guidance and reference in the design of SIP.
