Risk factors in the deserticulture in the desertification areas were analyzed from three aspects, the natural environment, market environment and the interior of enterprises. Then a comprehensive evaluation index system with nine second grade indices was suggested to evaluate the risk of deserticulture. And the risk evaluation model based on the fuzzy evaluation method was further given out. In the end, an example was used to demonstrate the application of this model to quantitatively evaluate the risks of deserticulture in certain desertification area.
