Based on the features of an image series obtained with geostationary satellite during solar eclipse, a dynamic method including correlation analysis, statistic technique and local enhancement is suggested for eliminating the shadow caused by solar eclipse. It has been shown that the method works efficiently and,especially in the full eclipse area, the associated"black core" on the image can also be eliminated and the texture and brightness of cloud systems can be recovered.
