Yu-Hai Zhao received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science from Northeastern University, China, in 1999 and 2004 respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Institute of Computer System, Northeastern University, China. He is currently the leader of Modern Information Technology Team, the director of Institute of Computer System, and the vice dean of College of Information Science & Engineering, Northeastern University. His research interests are XML data management, query processing and optimization, bioinformatics, high-dimensional indexing, parallel database systems, and P2P data management. He has published more than 100 research papers. Ying Yin received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science from Northeastern University, China, in 2002 and 2005 respectively. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Institute of Computer Application, Northeastern University, China. Her research interests include bioinformatics, data mining, and machine learning. Guang-Yu Xu received the B.Sc. degree in computer science from Northeastern University, China, in 2004. He is currently an M.S. candi- date at Institute of Computer System, Northeastern University, China. His research interests include bioinformatics, data mining, and machine learning.
