Novel and stable natural product analogs of monogalactosyl monoacylglycerol（MGMG）,1-O-acyl-2-hydroxy-3-α-D-galactopyranosyl propanediols,were efficiently synthesized by new routes and stereoselective allylation of acetyl protected D-galactose donor penta-acetate,followed by oxidation using alkaline KMnO_4,selective esterification and deprotection using hydrazine.
