分析了激光等离子体通道周围为有耗气体媒质时激光等离子体通道天线(IPCA)所传播一般模式的色散特性。建立了LPCA的电磁模型,推导出广义柱坐标系下纵向分量所满足的波动方程和纵向场与横向场的关系,得到激光等离子体通道和周围媒质中的电磁场,利用边界条件导出了LPCA最严格的特征方程,重点讨论了传播常数随等离子体参数和周围介质参数的变化。分析结果表明,通过控制等离子体的频率可以达到控制LPCA色散特性的目的。
The near electromagnetic model of the plasma channel antenna (LPCA) was proposed to analytically evaluate the dispersion characteristics of its normal modes in lossy gases. The wave equations for the longitudinal components and the relations between the transverse and longitudinal components of the electromagnetic field in the generalized cylindrical coordinates were derived. The electromagnetic field distributions of the laser plasma channel and the surrounding media were calculated. The rigorous characteristic equations of the LPCA were deduced by applying the boundary conditions of the electromagnetic fields. The variations in the propagation properties with the plasma parameters and the surrounding media were systematically studied. The results show that a judicious choice of the plasma frequency may well control the dispersion characteristics of the LPCA.
