Wireless sensor network( WSN) is a multi-hop self-organizing network system through wireless communication with large numbers of sensor nodes. The performance of wireless sensor network determines the quality of communication,and this paper uses the LEACH protocol and a high-level modeling mechanism—Performance Evaluation Process Algebra( PEPA) to analyze the network throughput,utilization rate and the response time.
