AM-RLC(确认模式-无线链路控制)协议是WCDMA和TD-SCDMA无线通信系统中最重要的空中接口协议之一。提出了一种动态调整确认间隔的改进AM-RLC机制。在改进的机制中,接收端通过接收缓冲区中出错数据帧的数目来判定信道条件,并根据信道条件动态调整确认的时间间隔,从而减少确认帧所带来的协议开销。仿真结果表明:在相同的确认间隔下,相比于固定确认间隔的AM-RLC机制,改进的AM-RLC机制能降低数据帧的延时;即在相同的数据帧延时要求下,改进的机制需要较少的确认帧,从而减少了协议开销。
AM-RLC (acknowledged mode - radio link control) protocol is one of the most important radio protocols in WCDMA and TD-SCDMA mobile communication systems. A modified AM-RLC scheme with adaptive acknowledge- ment interval was proposed. At receiver, the acknowledgement interval is dynamically changed according to the channel status. Simulation results show that the proposed AM-RLC scheme outperforms the fixed acknowledgement interval AM-RLC scheme on the performances of frame delivery delay and protocol overhead.
