中国的农村改革在试行中摸索前进，无套路可循，而地方政府的做法往往能提供宝贵的经验，引人深思。文章以长期坚持农村改革的贵州省湄潭县为研究点，分析湄潭县农村改革的发展阶段及具体实施方法，发现其改革的重点在土地，并从中获取一些启示与思考，对未来中国农村改革之路提出了改革土地制度、充分发挥土地功能和完善相关配套制度等对策和建议。
英文摘要：
China＇s rural reform forward in groping without set pattern to follow, and the local government＇s practices often can provide valuable experiences. This paper takes the Meitan County as the research point and analysis the development of rural reform, stages and concrete practices and finds out that the key to the reform is in the land. In view of the above, some enlightenment are obtained and some proposals are put forward.
