In this paper, we concern the busy period of finite dam with Erlang（n）arrival.We firstly construct two auxiliary stopping times.By applying the infinitesimal method, we derive two integro-differential equations, from which the Laplacian functional of the busy period is identified.As an example, when n=2,we establish a type of renewal equation, and give the explicit expression of the busy period of finite dam.
