By taking Henan University as an example,the methods and measures of the laboratory safety management such as the implementation of student safety education,the construction of laboratory safety rules and regulations,the construction and management of safety facilities,the management and utilization of dangerous chemicals,etc.,are elaborated,which ensures the normal,efficient,safe and orderly operation of the laboratories. The suggestions for the classification management of the laboratories, the implementation of EHS（ environment, health and safety）management system,the establishment of the ＂Three-level safety inspection ＂ system,the implementation of the＂Three-simultaneousness＂policy for laboratory safety facilities,etc.,are put forward.
