[Objective]To investigate the clinical experience of Professor LV Lijiang applying ＂expanding chest counterwork pulling manipulation＂ to treat dislocation of thoracic vertebrae.[Method] Elaborate Professor LV Lijiang＋s unique insights and clinical experience on treating dislocation of thoracic vertebra in terms of the characteristics of thoracic staggered joint disease, the specificity of the thoracic anatomical structure and positioning diagnosis and improved techniques, and summarize his unique technique and the clinical application of his patent using improved expanding chest counterwork pulling manipulation, and use typical cases to support. [Findings] Professor LV believes that the treatment of dislocation of thoracic vertebra should base on the thoracic anatomic structure, a clear diagnosis, and use different manipulation according to specific condition. No persistent manipulation is not recommended. The treatment of dislocation of thoracic vertebra using improved expanding chest counterwork pulling manipulation may improve the accuracy and success rate of manipulation.
