Alkaloid extracted from traditional Chinese medicine has high activity. At present, the alkaloid has already used in treatment and got good effect on clinic. In order to utilize al- kaloid, this paper summarized and classified the pharmacological effects and its mechanism of alkaloid. It could provide reference data for the new alkaloids development and clinical applications.
