Based on the introduction of the kinds of associated relationship between knowledge in knowledge linking, the article analyses the types of knowledge linking in detail and researches four methods to construct it. Then this article proposes that reference linking could be used to promote the knowledge linking of scientific documents, to compile the dictionary of scientific objects and to upgrade the linking and evaluation of related objects such as authors and institutions. Finally, it puts forward that the establishment of topic maps can facilitate the linking of knowledge elements and the extraction of knowledge elements would promote the linking of scientific data.
