交通流量采集是智能交通系统的一项关键技术,为了能够准确、稳定、简便地检测到道路交通流量,设计了一种基于FPGA的视频图像车流量检测系统.在该系统中,用FPGA、图像传感器、网络发送控制芯片等搭建硬件平台,在FPGA内部设计了采集控制模块、SDRAM控制模块、色度空间转换模块、接口模块以及显示控制模块,并对各模块进行了仿真,实现了交通流量视频信息从采集到发送的功能.在PC机上实现视频监控图像显示以及利用软件完成交通流量检测.调试结果表明,系统能够较好地完成交通流量视频采集、显示以及检测功能,达到了设计要求.
Traffic flow detection is a key technology in intelligent transportation system. In order to detect traffic flow accurately, stab- ly, easily, a kind of traffic video image detection system based on FPGA is designed. In this system, FPGA, image sensors, and network con- trol chip and so on are used to build hardware platform. The acquisition controlling module, SDRAM controlling module, chroma space con- version module, interface module and display control module are designed in the FPGA and each module is simulated. The function of collec- tion to send of traffic flow video information is realized. The display of video monitoring image and traffic flow detection are realized in the PC. Debugging results show that the system can well complete traffic flow video acquisition, display and detection and it has reached the de- sign requirements.
