针对基于能量检测的脉冲位置调制超宽带接收机对环境中的窄带干扰敏感的缺点,提出一种基于非线性Teager能量算子(TEO)的TEO-PPM超宽带接收机结构.通过TEO的非线性处理,使窄带干扰信号搬移到低频段,从而可以通过一个模拟高通滤波器将其滤除.仿真结果表明,提出的TEO-PPM超宽带接收机可以有效抑制窄带干扰.相对于传统基于能量检测的PPM超宽带接收机,TEO-PPM接收机的性能提升明显且实现复杂度增加不多,可以较好地适用于低成本和低实现复杂度的应用环境.
Since energy detection(ED) based pulse position modulation(PPM) ultra wideband(UWB) receiver is highly susceptible to narrowband interference(NBI),a new TEO-PPM receiver based on Teager energy operator(TEO) is proposed in this paper.By using the nonlinear TEO,the NBI is shifted to a low frequency band,and hence can be removed by a following analog high pass filter.The simulation results show that the receiver proposed in this paper can greatly mitigate the narrowband interference(NBI).Comparing with the ED based PPM receiver,the TEO-PPM receiver achieves significantly performance improvement at the cost of a little increase in complexity,this advantage makes it a promising technology for low-cost and low-complexity applications.
