As one of important optimization parameters for freight train formation plan（TFP）, the existed reasearches on time-saving in a technical station have now centered on an one-block train（single group train）.So that, research on the multi-block train situation is very significant in theoretical and practic value. According to the analysis on cost between multi-block train itinerary and one-block train with different operation modes, the corresponding results were presented respectively, which showed that there was an additional delay relative to the passing through train, but a net saving relative to the complete resorting train（break-up and make-up）.
