Li Yan, received her Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, China and was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the State Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communication, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUFF), China. Currently, she is a lecturer at BUPT and her main research interests include high-speed optical communication systems, coherent optical communication, optical signal processing, microwave photonics techniques, etc. Wu Jian, received the B.S. degree in optoelectronics from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 1995 and the Ph. D. degree in physical electronics fxom Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 1999. From 1999 to 2001, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Optical Communication Center, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). His research interests include high-speed optical networks and all-optical signal processing, high-speed optical transmission systems, nonlinear fiber optics and high-speed optoelectronic devices.
