Roof garden proper treatment and reasonable utilization has eased significantly effect on urban heat island effect increasing, has a positive role in promoting the low-carbon city construction and development. Based on the present situation of the construction of the roof garden in Nanjing city. combined with the construction practice, from the point of view of climate characteristics of the ecological environment of roof garden and the climatic feature of Nanjing, the paper puts forward the problems and the technical need to pay attention to the roof garden in Nanjing, plant configuration and roof garden construction and maintenance solution.
