Taking the nuclide ^55Co and ^54 Mn as examples,the rate of Gamow-Teller transition electron capture of the crusts of Neutron stars were in a strong magnetic field investigated. The results showed that at the range of the magnetic fields (10^4-10^9 T) on surfaces of the most neutron stars, the magnetic field has only a minor effect on the electron capture. However,at the magnetic field 10^9-10^13 T range for some magnetars,the EC rates are decrease greatly even for 2-3 orders by the strong magnetic field.
