The One-Factor-at-a-Time （OFAT） plan was not recommended in practice in experimental design, but following the recent study of OFAT, the effect and role of OFAT is better understood and realized, First, we introduce the OFAT experimentation and its recent developments in this paper. Second, the sensitivity analyses of starting points and varying orders are addressed, Third, the problem of what factors determine OFAT experimentation successful or fail is studied, and some significant results are gotten. Finally, we give out the conclusions and describe the future works.
