目的对于具有海量数据特征的地形实现既要保持视觉效果,又要提供较高的显示速率,以生成高度真实感和超快显示速度并存的三维地形。方法基于四叉树的鄂尔多斯盆地地形三维实时细节层次模型(LOD)表示的方法,从建模的角度来解决海量数据地形的实时显示问题。结果能够在不显著降低地形场景绘制质量的情况下达到理想的浏览效果,能实现地形的快速3D浏览。结论本方法对建立地形的多分辨率模型是一个非常有效的方法。
