根据作者近年的研究和实践,归纳出海外汉语教学与研究中的几个新的课题,包括“海外汉语教师的专业特点与职业定位”、“赵元任直接法影响下的北美中文教学传统”、“赵氏方法在神经科学上的新证据”,以及从理论到实践的“书面语体特征的自动检索与定量分析”。海外汉语教学的道理千条万绪归根结底,就是一句话:训练第一。
Based on previous work on theoretical and empirical studies of teaching Chinese as a second language in the past few years, this paper elaborates on some new issues in the field, including ( 1 ) how to identify the academic status of Chinese teachers in the field of world Chinese teaching, (2) the northern American tradition of Direct Method established by Professor Yuen Ren Chao, (3) the Neuroscience - based evidence for Yuenren -Tradition, and (4) the empirical result of an automatic feature checking algorithm for a quantitative analysis of formality in Chinese formal styles. Finally, it is argued that no matter how the L2 theories are formed, drilling always goes first.
