Qualitative and quantitative antibacterial activity experiments of silk dyed with natural dyes,reactive dyes and natural reactive dyes were carried out for Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli strains.The results showed that,silk dyed with natural reactive dyes belonged to non-leaching type,and its inhibitory rate was slightly lower than that of silk dyed with natural dyes;moreover,the activity against S.aureus of silk dyed with natural reactive dyes was better than it against E.coli.
