建立一种简单高效的沉积物中微塑料的提取方法,并成功应用于青岛胶州湾沉积物中微塑料的提取。首先,通过吸水泵吸取NaCl溶液到沉积物样品中使之流化,完成沉积物样品的预提取;然后,基于密度分选原理,用更高密度的NaI溶液通过离心方法对沉积物样品进行后续浮选。流化步骤可使沉积物样品质量大幅减少,从而明显减少价格较高的NaI用量;同时,离心浮选对微塑料提取的回收率明显高于容量瓶浮选,并且操作更简便。对于尺寸约为1 mm的聚乙烯(PE)、聚丙烯(PP)和聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)塑料颗粒,该方法的回收率为70%~96.6%。
A simple and highly efficient method for extracting microplastics from sediments were developed, which was suc- cessfully used in estuary sediments from Jiaozhou Bay of Qingdao, China. The sediment sample was pre - extracted by fluid- ization in a sodium chloride (NaC1) solution,followed by centrifugation based on density separation using a higher density sodium iodide (NaI) solution. Fluidization greatly reduced the original sediment mass ,leading to less usage of more expen- sive NaI salts in the following step ; At the same time, compared to flotation in volumetric flasks, centrifugation is easier to operate, yet with higher recoveries. Recoveries of polyethylene ( PE ), polypropylene ( PP), polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with sizes of approximately 1 mm for the whole procedure were between 70% and 96. 6%.
