Based on the radial basis Multiquadric(MQ)quasi-interpolating,a new operator LM is proposed.It is proved that the operator has a quadratic polynomial reproducing and cubic shape preserving properties.By numerical examples,its good approximation properties are verified in the end,especially for power functions and exponential functions.
