研究了一种具有多段损耗波导结构的8mm二次谐波回旋行波放大器.通过稳定性分析,确定了放大器的工作参数,并对其注-波互作用过程进行了详细的分析和讨论,完成了工作在35GHzTE02模二次谐波三段损耗波导结构回旋行波放大器的优化设计.非线性模拟结果表明,该互作用结构能有效地抑制寄生模式,在速度零散为3%的情况下,其峰值功率为125kW、增益为39dB、3dB带宽为4.3%.
A Ka-band second-harmonic gyrotron traveling wave amplifier with multi-stage loss waveguide was studied. By stability analysis, the parameters were determined. A 35GHz TE02 mode second harmonic three-stage distributed-loss gyro- TWT was presented and the optimized design was carried out. Then the nonlinear analysis was presented to study the interaction between electron beam and wave. The results indicate that the interaction structure can suppress the parasitic modes effectively, meanwhile, 125kW output power and 39dB gain are obtained when the beam velocity spread is 3%. The 3dB bandwidth is 4.3%.
